After a year of data collection, modelling, visualization and risk analysis, the landslide and flood expert team—together with social scientists, data scientists, digital surface mapping experts, and content developer—published a primer on disaster risk called “Disaster Risk Report: Understanding Landslide and Flood Risks for Science-Based Disaster Risk Reduction in the State of Selangor”.  In line with Priority 1 of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, it combines science with disaster risk reduction measures to give community readers a deeper understanding of the risks being faced in their respective communities.  The Report was launched in August 2019 and presented to Y.A.B. Tuan Amirudin bin Shari, the Chief Minister of Selangor.
