The Ulu Klang was divided into 8 zones for town watching:
- Zone 1: Taman Sierra Ukay
- Zone 2 & 3: Ukay Perdana
- Zone 4: Taman Sering Ukay
- Zone 5: Taman Kelab Ukay
- Zone 6 & 7: Riverdale Park, Villa Ria (Taman Bukit Mulia) and Kg. Sungai Sering
- Zone 9: Taman Bukit Jaya
The participants were divided into 6 groups for town watching and community mapping activities.

- Local volunteer groups/community action groups
