Community DRR Activity 2: Handover of Evacuation Centre Materials to Communities
In September, SeDAR officially handed-over the posters and fridge magnets on evacuation centre locations and public warning procedures to each village leaders in the Kapar sub-district. Signages for evacuation centres in the sub-district were later distributed.
Briefing was conducted on (1) flood early warning system in Kapar, (2) community actions to take when sirens activate, and (3) how to prepare for evacuation.
Certificates of Appreciation to the government agencies that had participated and given support to the SeDAR program were distributed.
