Throughout the months of October and November 2019, risk communication sessions were carried out to local government officials and community leaders in the project areas.  In these sessions, participants learned how and why their areas were deemed hazardous, what are the causes, and how risks can be managed.  The important lesson learned was that with proactive mitigation and action, the risk profiles of their areas can be positively altered. The Kapar session was the third of a series of risk communication sessions conducted under the SeDAR program.
