The second round of training is conducted by the Master Trainers to the community leaders and local champions within the 4 project areas.  This training enables the community trainees to teach their respective communities about the various topics introduced in the SeDAR training modules.

Three training-of-trainer (TOT) sessions were conducted in the 4 project areas, which are: (1) Ulu Klang, (2) Kg. Tok Muda and Kapar sub-district, (3) Kg. Sungai Serai and (4) Batu 14 in the Hulu Langat sub-district (combined session).

The training format follows the same modules and activities as covered in the TOT sessions for the Master Trainers, which are: (1) Understanding DRR Concepts, (2) Understanding Local Risks, and (3) Planning, Implementing and Evaluating CBDRR Program.

Hands-on exercises such as the Disaster Timeline and Problem Analysis as well as the group discussions provided a forum for government agencies and the communities to have in-depth discussions on issues and problems contributing to disasters within their areas.

A total of 81 Community Trainers were created.
