Half-day workshops were carried out with communities at each project area to identify and plan DRR activities with input from disaster risk reduction (DRR) experts.  As input, the list of possible community actions from the town watching/community mapping exercise was reviewed.  A feasibility assessment of each proposed action was conducted by the DRR experts together with the community participants based on local capacity, timeframe, budget and other considerations.

Finally, a shortlist of potential DRR actions was selected and finalized at the end of the sessions by the communities, with facilitation by the DRR experts.
